COVID-19 Specific Contract Terms

Covid 19 Specific Terms

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, any new booking contract sent out has a specific clause in case of further disruption due specifically to COVID-19

In the event of you having to postpone your wedding day because of any circumstances related specifically to COVID-19, including but not limited to...

Illness (your own, or key guests - see below)
Inability to travel for key guests (see below)
Government regulations stopping gatherings or weddings,
Venue closures, etc.

I will be very happy to allow you to reschedule your booking and ANY amount already paid will be carried over as payment for the new date. Obviously as a sole trader, I can only handle one event per day, so a quick caveat is that it’ll need to be a date where I’m not already booked and if more than 6 months later than the original date, the event would be subject to re-pricing at then-current rates.

If you are unable to rebook, then all fees paid by the client to Incandescence (including the booking fee) will be repaid on production of proof of reason (such as a positive COVID-19 test result, copy of venue communication showing COVID-19 as reason for cancellation/postponement, etc).

Key Guests

These are the people that may cause you to postpone the wedding if they weren't able to attend.  They include (but aren't limited to):

Bride & Groom, Bridesmaids, Best Man, Parents and close relations of Bride & Groom, Ushers.
